What is the Difference between Husky, Dog, Fox, Jackal, Coyote and Wolf

Animals are the beauty and need of our world to complete food chain. Some of these animals have friendly nature and we can adopt them. However, some have wild nature and it is hard to train them for living with human beings. Husky, Dog, Fox, Jackal, Coyote and Wolf are the names of some animals that look like same, but differ with respect to habits and genetics as well. Here is the difference between them.

Dogs

Dog is term used to a lupus Canidae family. They are domestic animals. Usually people adopt them as a pet. They are easily trainable and used for many domestic purposes.

Wolfs

They have some similarities with domestic dogs like appearance, but they are different from dogs in behavior and aggression. A wolf is wild and never being trained like dogs. They are harmful for human beings. They prey wild animals as well as humans also.

Huskey

Huskey is a purebred of dog which was breaded to survive in harsh cold conditions of Siberia. They send to Alaska for sled race and they were very successive there. They consume less food and very strong for pull the sled.

Coyote

They look like wolf but they are very different from them. They often called “barking dogs”. They are not harmful for humans like wolfs, they prey little animals which harms the cultivation. They are little in size compare to dog and wolf.

Fox

They belong to vulpine canidae family. They are still wild. They have only 12 breeds which are very less as compare to dogs and wolfs, Fox are usually alone animal and stay away from human societies. They prey little animals.

Jackal

They have different size from medium to large. They are members of the canine family. Jackals are four species. These four species also different from each other like side-striped and black-backed are different from golden and simian jackals. They live away from humans.

Dogs, wolfs, fox, huskey, jackals and coyote are all belongs to two different families and they all are different from each other In appearance ,height ,weight as well as food and accommodation. When we talk about the difference between dog, wolf, fox, huskey, coyote and jackal, we should look at the genetics of these animals primarily. The dog genus Canis that includes wolfs, coyote and jackal, can breed for their fertile offspring. However they cannot breed with wider dog family Canidae like fox and African wild dog, it will cause their infertile offspring. They all differ from each other in different characteristics.
