What is the Difference between Clindamycin Erythromycin Neomycin Azithromycin

Clindamycin
It is a type of lincosamide antibiotic and it is used to treat the infections due to the anaerobic bacteria. It is also used against some other diseases like malaria.
Erythromycin
It is a microbial type of antibiotic and has the same effect as that of penicillin and is used usually by those which has allergy to the penicillin. It is also used against respiratory infections.
Neomycin
It is an antibiotic which is Selman Waksman and he got noble prize for this. It is also used against intestinal bacteria and is also available in form of creams and eye drops.
Azithromycin
It is one of the world’s best antibiotics and is used to treat many infections of throat and ear. It is also used against pneumonia and typhoid.
Clindamycin Vs Erythromycin Vs Neomycin Vs Azithromycin
Clindamycin is used to treat infections relating to anaerobic bacteria and is used against malaria while Erythromycin is used in place of penicillin and against respiratory infections. Neomycin is an antibiotic which is used against intestinal bacteria and Azithromycin is the best seller antibiotic which is used against typhoid and pneumonia.
