What is the Difference between Quizzes, Votes, Polls and Surveys

There are different commonly known social terms that we use in our society to specify an object or any thing. Terms like vote, poll, quiz and survey are widely used. Let’s have a look on difference between them.

A quiz is a kind of game or a process which is used to check the mental growth, abilities and skills of a person. It is mostly used in field of education. Different kinds of questions are asked in a quiz.

Vote is a term used to show or give opinion about any person. It is used to elect a specific person for any party. It is commonly used in democratic governments. It is right of a person with which he can select a person of his choice.

Polls

It is a survey which is conducted within a number of people to take suggestions and decision about any thing like party or a person. A poll executes opinion of people about that object at which it is conducted.

Survey

Survey is a term usually used for survey of land. It is also about to get opinion or knowledge about any thing personally. Survey is a science or technique used to determine the distance and angle between points accurately.

Difference between polls and survey is, poll is a type of survey in which is conducted among a population to get their opinion about a specific object while survey is generally refers as survey of lands.
