What is the Difference between Ipad and Ipad 2
Apple has always introduced some extra ordinary good and appealing technologies. IPAD and IPAD2 are the example of this claim. Apple has been pioneer to introduce not only the latest technology, but also has presented it in the most reasonable way as well. Apple’s IPAD and IPAD2 have become one of the more likely items of present age. Many people, who are not aware of both, think that they are the same. Well, they are not. Let's see how they are different.
IPAD
IPad is designed with 9.7 inches multi touch LED backlit LCD display, using IPS technology. This weird technology enables wide viewing at an angle of 178 degrees. Its screen is oleo phobic and coated to resist fingerprint marks. The display of IPAD is designed to show the content in any orientation, either in portrait or landscape view. Some special features of iOS (in iPad) 4.x are the Multi-tasking, Air-Print, Air-Play and find my iPhone.
IPAD2
IPad 2 has excellent multitasking feature with the support of 1GHz dual core high performance A5 application processor, 512 MB RAM and revamped iOS 4.3. iPad 2 is not only slim in size with 8.8 mm thickness, but lighter in weight with 1.34 pounds. The new operating system iOS 4.3 also has improved features like iTunes, home sharing etc. With improved Air-Play, you can wirelessly stream your media content to HDTV or speakers via Apple-TV. It is available in black and white colors.
IPAD vs IPAD 2
The first difference is their size and weight. iPAD is 0.73 kg or1.6 pounds with Wi-Fi and 3G model. On the other side, iPAD 2 has weight 1.34 pounds or 607 gm with Wi-Fi and 3G model. Similarly, iPad 2 is slim with 8.8 mm thickness that is 33% thinner and 15% lighter than iPad. The new A5 processor’s clock speed is twice faster than A4 and 9 times better on graphics while the power consumption remains same. No doubt, storage capacity of iPAD is same as of iPad 2, which is 16GB, 32GB or 64GB. However, the display, battery, chip board, wireless and cellular performance is enhanced in IPAD2.
