What is the Difference between Freckle, Whitehead and Blackhead

Every human is conscious about his looks and want to appear beautiful and attractive. However, certain things cause problems and make the steal the beauty of face. Freckles, whitehead and blackhead are few common things in this regard. Here, we are discussing few basic differences between them.

Freckles

Freckles are the appearance of dark pigmentation on the body. Usually they appear on face, but in sever conditions shoulders can also get affected. Formation of freckles can be enhanced with sun exposure. Sun exposure increase melanin production, which increase darkness in freckles.

Whitehead

A whitehead is a close type of lesion. It remains under the skin and does not open on the surface of the skin. These are slightly raised bumps, which are same as the color of skin. They persist long on the face.

Blackhead

It is an open type of lesion, which opens at the surface of skin. When skin oils are exposed to the oxygen in the air it turns black. It is not dirt, trapped in the skin. The usually have long life span. Blackhead are commonly found on nose, forehead and cheeks.

Freckle vs Whitehead vs Blackhead

Freckles, whitehead and blackhead are different kinds of skin problems, which are not really skin infections but the give it a bad look. Freckles are accumulation of pigmentation, which give it a dark patchy look, while blackheads and whites are clogged skin pores. When these pores are blogged due to oil accumulation and are not exposed to air, they make whitehead. If they are exposed to air, they are called black heads. Usually they are long lasting. To avoid infections early treatment is necessary. Moreover, one should not pop them with sharp objects. Improper treatment can cause viral and bacterial infection. Sever skin problems usually start with these small skin issues.
