What Is Difference between Yahoo, Ask, Bing, Google
The age of internet has given us freedom to search anything at the distance of one click. No matter what is to be searched for, there are plenty of search engines available that give us access to what we need. These search engines are web sites that have gathered the address of almost every website which they can access and then they add that information into their database. When users give input these search engines get the output within seconds by matching the key words. There are multiple methods used by these search engines to gather data. Google, yahoo, ask and bing are four among many search engines.
Google is much older search engine compared to other engines. It identifies and classifies links as true editorial citation or artificial link. It looks for the natural growth of the links of various websites. The search results are the most near to what is asked for. Google has content filters that check for the duplicate content in the pages. Google has crawler, the specific procedures for the searching of the whole World Wide Web for the links and pages.
Yahoo
It is been used as search engine for many years now. The yahoo inc. has the crawler programs through which it finds the addresses for the sites and they also run a forum through which loads of relevant data is found. This saves them loads of cost.
Bing
Bing is a different category of web searching. Its primary searches are places, shopping places, travel places and it’s not like a general search engine. Bing is not famous like others and it is least used as a search engine.
Ask
Ask is a relatively new website that has data for specific topics. Ask emphasizes on topical communities and does the heavy citation only when it is from the topical communities. Ask does not have significant market share and it is therefore, not much sited unless necessary.
Google vs Yahoo vs Bing vs Ask
The most used search engine is google it is not only the best but also uses the best techniques and expert and extensive citation and duplication checking. The yahoo search uses crawlers and they also have their own forum to get the relevant data. Ask is a topical communities search engine while bing does not primary searches the information rather it looks for hopping and travels.
