What is the Difference between Disk Clean up and Disk Defragmenter

Computer is a complex machine and has many sensitive parts and must be use with extra care and precautionary measures should be taken. In spite of this outer care and protection computer also needs to be cleaned up from inside and also needs to terminate the errors which arises inside the computer software and fill up the free space which not only affects the working of computer but also make it slow and it takes more time in the process. Many methods are adopted for making right the internal problems of computer. One of them is disk clean up while the other famous one is disk fragmentation. These two are thought to be similar but in fact are different.

Disk Clean Up

It is a utility which is included in the Microsoft Windows to maintain the computer. Its main function is to free up the disk pace of the computer’s hard drive. It searches the files which are of no use and then analyze them and then remove them from the system thus freeing the space from the hard disk of the computer.

Disk Defragment

It is the utility which is included in the Microsoft windows for the maintenance of the computer. In this process the files are arranged in order which makes them easy to access. This not only makes them easy to read but also reduce the time for the start up windows and to write files to the disk.

Disk Clean Up Vs Disk Defragment

Disk Clean up is used to free the hard disk which make the working of the computer faster and it searches and analyze the un used files and deletes them to free the space while disk defragment is the process which arrange the files and make it easier to access them and also reduce the starting time and writing files to the disk.
