Since the inception of the new technology which gave us the handheld devices, the world has been changed to a great extent. Once what was imagined as a dream only is now possible. We can keep the world on our palm by having a small phone with internet options. The technology is improving day by day and with fast pace. With the development of new and improved handheld devices the requirement of their soft ware are also increase and changing. Symbian
Symbian is the operating system for mobiles by nokia. This operating system is developed on the programming language c++. The latest of the symbian software is symbian e while the predecessor is symbian platform.
Wp7
Whindows phone 7 is the latest mobile software developed by Microsoft for the smart phones. This mobile phone operating system is developed in C and C++ and it has all the necessary features that the cell phone users need.
Web OS
web os is created by HP as the operating system for mobiles. It is developed with the useage of many programming languages like, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, C and C++ through the PDK.
Rim
Blackberry phones are developed by the research in mobile (RIM). These smat phones use this operating system which we know as rim.
Android
Android is the mobile operating system for smart phones developed by google. This operating system is developed in the programming languages; Java but portions of code can be in C, C++
Ios
Ios is the oerating system for mobiles and smart phones by apple. The language used to develop this OS is objective C.
Symbian vs Wp7 vs Rim vs Webos vs Android vs Ios
These are different software developed by different top names in the technology of mobiles and smart phone. Symbian is developed by nokia while wp7 is developed by micsrosoft. The rim operating system is for blackberry and the webos is for the HP supported deviced. Android is developed by google and ios is developed by apple. These operating systems are created in different languages and offer a great deal of services.
