Microsoft has spell-bound the whole world in to the net of its user-friendly and highly efficient series of operating systems for the computers. The name of the series of operating systems developed by Microsoft is “Microsoft Windows”. We can see a long series of Windows versions that come in front of us just after 2-3 years. Windows 7 and Windows 8 are the names of two versions of Windows. Windows 7
Windows 7 is the most recent version of Microsoft Windows Series and people are frequently using it as well as readily replacing the previous versions with it as well. it was launched on 22 October, 2009 just within the three years after the launch its previous version Windows Vista. Windows 8
Windows 8 is the name of upcoming and more advanced version of Microsoft Windows Series. According to Microsoft, this version will be released in 2012, but still the date is not announced. The special features of Windows 8 are like support for ARM microprocessors, support for x86 microprocessor from Intel and AMD a new touch screen startup interface.
Windows 7 vs Windows 8
In terms of performance, there are crystal clear differences between windows 7 & 8. Windows 7 was advanced from its predecessor version in terms of new touch and hand-writing recognition, kernel improvement, multi-core processor, User account control, jump-list, minimum hardware requirement and support for virtual hard disks. On the other hand, the upcoming version “Windows 8” is appearing with more advanced features than Windows 7. These mouth-watering features are like ARM support, SoC support, hybrid boot, improved task manager, portable workspace, efficient touch screen interface, completely changed screen start up interface, native ISO mounting and many more.
