What is the Difference between i3 and i5

Intel Corporation is the largest manufacturer of Processors on the globe. They keep on introducing the latest technologies and are trend setters in this field. Intel Core I3 and Intel Core I5 are two latest microprocessors launched by Intel Corporation. In general both are the best possible Computing machines for domestic and corporate customers but somehow they have technical differences, which will be explained later.

Intel Core I3 Microprocessor

Core I3 processors by Intel are basically Dual Core machine with hyper threading enabled. This hyper threading enables it to work as four cores which make its performance far much better than the previous processors. Core I3 microprocessors are available with 3mb cache. It has Intel HD graphics with it, which makes it a good choice for normal gamers, as it is enough capable for pc gaming.

Intel Core I5 Microprocessor

Core I5 Microprocessor is quad core machine with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, which allows processor to work on more speed than normal for better performance. Core I5 microprocessors are available with 6 mb cache memory. Intel HD Graphics is included with Core I5 processors. These processors are available from 2.30 GHz to 3.30 GHz Processor Speed.  These processors do not have hyper threading. For heavy computing and Gaming it is good choice.

Core I3 vs Core I5

Core I3 processors are Dual Core with Hyper threading, which actually make it to work as four cores but Core I5 is in real a Quad Core without hyper threading. Core I5 processor contain Intel Turbo Boost Technology, which is an additional characteristic of it because Core I3 lack in this technology. Another key difference between Core I3 and Core I5 is the size of Cache memory. Core I3 processors are available with 6 mb cache while Core I3 processors are available with 3 mb.
