What is the Difference between Bangladesh India and Pakistan

Bangladesh India and Pakistan are the most prominent countries of South Asian region. Just a half century back, all these three countries were one unit and remained under the influence of one ruler for more than 1000 years. At that time, the name of this one unit was “Hindustan” which is now the second name of “India”.  In 1947, this unit was divided into two parts named as India and Pakistan. However, in 1947, the Pakistan was again divided into two parts named as East Pakistan (Bangladesh) and West Pakistan (Pakistan). Now, all these three countries are surviving and thriving separately. Let’s see the difference between Bangladesh India and Pakistan.

Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a South Asian country which is bordered by India, Burma, Nepal, Bhutan and China. It is not only third most populous Muslim country, but also ranked 8th among most populous countries of entire world. Bangladesh is divided into 7 provinces and 64 districts.  Bengali is the national and most widely speaking language of Bangladesh. The national religion and also the religion of majority people in Bangladesh is Islam.

India

India, the second most populous country of the world, is located in South Asia. It is bordered by China, Nepal, Bhutan, Burma and Bangladesh. It is the home land of four religions; Hinduism, Jainism, Buddhism and Sikhism. The India is divided into 7 union territories and 28 states. The national language of India is Hindi, while people also like to speak English in many areas. The religion of majority people is Hinduism, but Islam is the second largest religion in India with world’s largest minority.

Pakistan

Pakistan is also a South Asian country and shares borders with India, China, Afghanistan and Iran. It came into being on 14th August, 1947. The national language of Pakistan is Urdu, while the languages of all five provinces of Pakistan are different. The official religion and also the religion of majority people in Pakistan is Islam.

Bangladesh vs India vs Pakistan

Being the South Asian and the neighbor countries, there are lots of similarities in the culture of Bangladesh India and Pakistan. However, still these three countries differ from each other with respect to area, religion, language, financial condition and eating habits of people. All three countries are developing countries, but rapidly growing economies as well. Moreover, there is a permanent conflict between India and Pakistan in the form of Kashmir dispute.
