Glockenspiel

In this instrument tuned keys are arranged like a piano keyboard. These bars are made of metal, which gives its sound a higher pitch. In some cases these bars are held horizontally, while at times they are mounted vertically. A pair of hard mallets is used to strike the bars. It produces bell like sound.

Vibraphone

Vibraphone is also percussion instruments, which produce sound after being struck by a beater. It appears like Glockenspiel and Xylophone. In vibraphone, each bar is paired with a resonator tube, which creates a vibrating voice. It is usually used in creating Jazz music.

Marimba

This percussion instrument has wooden bars attached with resonators. These bars are struck with mallets in order to produce musical sound. Its tonal range is lower than that of xylophone. It is used in marching bands in orchestral compositions and solo performances.

Xylophone

Another member of percussion family is xylophone. It has wooden bars, which are struck by mallets. Each bar is tuned to a pitch of musical scale. It is used in different ways in different parts of the world.

Glockenspiel vs Vibraphone vs Marimba vs Xylophone

All these are members of percussion family and are used almost all over the world in different forms. In Glockenspiel metal bars are used, while in Vibraphone and Xylophone wooden bars are used. Vibraphone is used in Jazz music while Xylophone is used in western style music. Xylophone produces a crisp sound, while vibraphone produces a mellower sound. Marimba stands on floor while Glockenspiel sits in a case. Marimba has wooden bars and it needs resonating tubs for better sound, while sound produced by glockenspiel is more penetrating and do not need any amplification.

Trickster Tale

Trickster is a term used for a story character that plays tricks or disobey the rules or normal behavior. A trickster may be a god, goddess, women or a spirit. It may be foolish or funny sometime.

Fable

It is a fictional story. A fable gives human characters to the non-living objects and delivers a moral lesson, which is described briefly at the end.

Parable

A parable is a type of brief story, which is based on some helpful principles. A parable usually illustrates one or more moral lessons. It consists of human characters.

Fairy Tales vs Trickster Tale vs Fable vs Parable

The difference between fairy tale and trickster tale is, fairy tale is a type of story, which is based on some specific characters like fairies, giants, elves etc. while trickster is a character used in stories. It is a character having different natures. It may be funny or foolish. Difference between fable and parable is, a fable is a fictional story, which is based on non-living characters like plants, trees etc. They act in stories like a human character. While a parable is a story, which consists of human characters and delivers one or more moral lessons.

Nonfiction

It is a form of a narrative account which is based on truth and its description is understood as a fact. A nonfiction presentation may be true or false, but it’s a composition which is based on truth by the author.

Fiction

Fiction is an account of a narrative work which deals with a false or non truthful. A fiction is based on imaginary ideas. It is usually refer as a musical or cinematic work.

Fantasy

It is a generic of fiction. Fantasy work is based on some supernatural or magical phenomenal theme. It is different from scientific fiction.

Reality

Reality is a work or anything which is fact full and real. Reality refer that what is real and what is non real or imaginary.

Nonfiction vs Reality vs Fiction vs Fantasy

The difference between nonfiction and fiction is, nonfiction is a form of a narrative account which is truthful and its composition to its audience is real. While a fiction is an account which is based on imaginary ideas and non real themes. Difference between fantasy and reality is that, fantasy is a type of fiction but differs from it. Fantasy is based on magic or supernatural phenomenal ideas and primary theme. It is totally different from scientific fiction and horror. While reality tells about what is real and what is false or non real or imaginary.

Megaman

Megaman is a comic character of animated 3D video game “Megaman Series” developed in Japan by Capcom. Keiji Inafune is the name behinf refined creation of this comic character. Megaman is also famous as Rockman in Japanese Children.

Kirby

The main character of Kirby video game series “Kirby” was created by Masahiro Sakurai. This Nintendo’s video game character was developed by HAL Laboratory in 1992.

Goku

The main protagonist and fictional character of Dragon Ball “Goku” was created by Akira Toriyama in 1984. Dragon Ball is the Japanese manga series that is award–winning.

Luigi

A famous fiction character of Nintendo’s video games and related media is “Luigi”. A famous game designer Shigeru Miyamoto is the name behind creation of this comic character.

Mario

A world-famous Japanese video game Mario is famous for the name of its main protagonist “Mario”. The character was created by renowned Japanese designer Shigeru Miyamoto in 1981.

Sonic

Sonic – The Hedgehog is the main character of sonic Video game series that was released in 1991. Sega is the name behind introducing company and design was created by Yuji Naka and Naoto Oshima.

All these comic characters are the main protagonists of world-famous video games and manga series. The difference in these characters is only their different launching companies and designers as well. however, in terms of fame, there is not very much difference among these characters.
