What is the Difference between Data and Information
When a person walks to a garden or somewhere else, he observes many things by using senses like he smells flowers, see flowers, touch flowers, hears sounds and can taste flowers as well. He observes not only the flowers but also the plants containing flowers, sidewalks, people in the garden, birds etc. It all increases his knowledge about flowers. Data and information both are the words used for knowledge.
