What is the Difference between Otg, Electric Toaster, Grill and Microwave Oven
With the passage of time, change and advancement in technology is affecting our lives in highly positive manner. Many types of home and kitchen appliances have been innovated by engineers to make it easy and safe. There are different types of kitchen appliances, which are used in homes like microwave oven, electric toaster, OTG and grill etc. Their functions are different from each other. Let’s know about the difference between them.
Grill
Grill is a device used to cook food. In grill food is cooked by heating below the device. There are different types of grills, which are divided into two main categories like gas-fueled and charcoal. The cooking method of both categories is different.
Microwave Oven
It is a chicken appliance used to heat the food. It is commonly named as microwave. It uses dielectric heating to heat the food. Microwave radiations generate polarized molecule in food.
Electric Toaster
Toaster is a small kitchen appliance. It is used to make toast from various breads. A two-slice toaster takes 600 to 1200 watts. We can make a toast in 1 to 3 minutes. Another type of toaster is non-electric toaster, which uses open flame to make toast.
OTG
It is known as oven toaster grill. It is also a kitchen appliance which is based on microwave. It is used for cooking. It contains multiple heaters. Its general features are removable crumb and tray.
Otg vs Electric Toaster vs Grill vs Microwave Oven
The difference between grill and microwave oven is, grill is an open device used for cooking in grill, heat is supplied below the grill and it is usually used in barbecue cooking. While microwave oven is an electric device used to heat the food by dielectric heating. The difference between electric toaster and OTG is that, OTG is a kitchen appliance based on microwave and used to cook the food by multiple heaters, while electric toaster is a small appliance used to make toast from bread. It is a small electric kitchen appliance which consumes only 600 to 1200 watt electricity.
